Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

Clinic Dost ("we", "us") runs a WhatsApp-based token (queue number) booking service for clinics. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. It applies to patients and their relatives who message our WhatsApp number, and to clinic staff who use our dashboard.

What we collect

We do not ask for, and you should not send, any medical information. We never send diagnoses, prescriptions or other medical details on WhatsApp.

How we use it

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone other than the clinic you booked with and the service providers listed below.

Automated understanding

To understand free-text messages (for example, "Ramesh ke liye token chahiye"), we first use our own rules. When those are unsure, the message text may be sent to an AI service (Anthropic) solely to classify the request. Your phone number is not sent, and the service is not used to answer medical questions.

Service providers

How long we keep it

Patient phone numbers are deleted from our records 30 days after the visit. Anonymous counts (for example, tokens per day per clinic) may be kept longer to improve the service.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent. Cancelling your token or not messaging us again stops further messages. To make a request or raise a grievance, contact us below.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored on secured servers with access limited to people who need it to run the service.
